  It's obviously a baby shark with an embryo sack. Someone took it out of the mermaid's purse (Shark egg) or out of the mother before it was ready.I looked at it for like 3 seconds. You can tell it's super small and young.

  It is possible that it's a tumor, sure, but it looks more like an embryo than anything. Like someone else said, it was taken prematurely from the egg and passed off as an adult shark.

  This is without question a US shark.

  It appears frequently in coastal waters, near fast food outlets.

  Sharks have to be able to get tumors...abnormal cells develop sometime or another....and i think i'm gonna go with the michael moore theory. :).
