Italian island volcano spewing lava »
Posted by: capn_caveman 1 year, 7 months agoA volcano on the Italian island of Stromboli, close to the north coast of Sicily, has begun spewing lava. The last major eruption in 2002 caused a collapse that led to a small tsunami.

My family owns a restaurant that makes stromboli, but it's not a pasta (at least not at my family's place). It's kind of like a calzone - fresh spinach, pepperoni, provolone, and a little pesto rolled up in homemade dough, baked and served with a little marinara.
I never knew it was named after an island...

Send Rosie O'Donnell and Al Gore to Sicily. If a the vulcano erupts and causes a tsunami, they can then jump in the water and cause a counter-tsunami to null out the one from the vulcano.
