Persian leopard triplets born in June were presented Tuesday at the Budapest Zoo. The cubs Ã¢â;¬" a male and two females Ã¢â;¬" were born at the zoo on June 19 and are doing well, said zoo spokesman Zoltan Hanga.

Good story STONERS, with everything happening in the Middle East you never hear anything about the wildlife. Hopefully this species will be able survive in their native habitat

I will have to buy one for BB. Uncle Dave can buy the liter box, lol!
I was not aware that there were so few leapards. I hate the idea that some of these wild animals are being kept in zoo's. In this case I am glad.

If ya get a leopard, even tame; QUIT using the teriyaki aftershave...studies suggest that use of this product, while owning a big cat, can lead to very raw skin...(Tongue-Burn)

I am surprised that the article didn't say more about why they are endangered, encroachment of habitat? or hunting? It would be interesting to know how long the species has been in decline. It is so sad to think about these majestic species havig to live in cages, no matter what the intentions.

They're beautiful! They have practiced their snarl to perfection. I definitely wouldn't want to make their watchful and protective mother angry!
