Science – Using two ESA spacecraft, planetary scientists are watching the atmospheres of Mars and Venus being stripped away into space. The simultaneous observations by Mars Express and Venus Express give scientists the data they need to investigate the evolution of the two planets' atmospheres.
I have a way to possibly make Venus habitable. What it would need is to create millions of robot ships that get into a type of synchronous orbit that wouldn't match the rotation of the planet, but, the orbit of the planet around the sun. These robot ships would spread out large canvases to block out the sun and cool it down. OTHER robot ships would then crash into the planet containing a LOT of ant-acid to weaken the sulferic acid, and, robot ships containing genetically modified seeds would be scattered after that produce plants to help absorb the carbon dioxide. IF it started getting TOO cold for the planet, the robot ships would pull in their canvases, allowing sun-light back onto the planet's surface. The ONLY way to live on Venus would be to repair, replace, and up-keep the robot ships. A similar thing would take place on Mars, but, instead of robot ships to block out the sun, it would have robot ships containing reflectors to heat the planet up. Water provided by comets.
Create robots that can reproduce themselves. Von Neumann machines. Create a few designs for some specific tasks, and let them have at it. Drop a few comets in the atmosphere to dissolve acid and carbon dioxide. This would help cool in conjunction with shield or reflective solution.
For Mars, once it has been determined whether or not life is still around, then the comets if it is determined to be lifeless, or minimally effected. I wouldn't mind a ringside seat for this one.

Actually, if you look to the baby Jaysus, you'll realize that the orbit of the moon around earth matches the rotation of the moon so we never see the moon's "dark side", and, a similar thing occurs with Venus. Because of Venus' counter rotation (it's the only planet that rotates clockwise so the sun "rises" in it's west as it orbits about the sun), well, gosh dangy darn, the earth only sees one side of IT'S face, as if Venus is playing the same one sided face game with the earth. What are the odds of THAT happening, Mr. Atheist, what ARE are the odds?
do you know the odds, b/c I would be interested in that bit of trivia.
I don't see how it relates to my belief in a creator, but I would be interested in that bit of trivia.
The best way to check it out is go to your web browser and type "Venus always faces earth", and you will learn about it's crazy rotation and the bizarre way it always seems to look at earth with that one side when the earth is at it's closest to it.
that would explain the "how it works" which I already knew, and I admit is pretty cool, but would not present the odds of it happening.
