Unlike rockets launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, which shed excess stages into the Atlantic Ocean, large sections from rockets launched from Baikonur crash back to Earth and land on the Kazakh steppe.

For example: Pletsnesk cosmodrome in northern Russia...
There is no such Pletsnesk cosmodrome, there is just Plesetsk cosmodrome.
