It's just too classless and so unnecessary.

I have been reading about inequity aversion.
It seems that it is almost instinctual among primates.
Economists and propagandists and advertisers are studying and arguing about the data big time.
Now if this study states that conservative are less likely to respond to it, would that mean that they are willing to work for less money?
Now I have no right to speak for anyone here, but I do believe that I have heard things like all folks should "pay the same rate in taxes" no mater what their income.
I will refrain from putting forth my argument against such at this time.
But would this not be characterized as inequity aversion.

LMAO - That explains quite a bit actually - including the rationalizing this article does to draw it's own conclusions. "Rationalization" is not rational thinking BTW. It's barely one Bacon number away from superstition - and in the conservative RW religious camp, "gawd" and the jaysus tooth fairy are used to explain away more than just "evolution". Ignorance is not bliss - even if it makes people happy to think that it is.
I could see how they would be happier. Ignorance in their case is bliss. All we have to look at is how 65 million people in this country rationalized that it would be a good idea to re-elect a traitor.
All we need to see about how rational right wingers are is look at the posts on here by them. How many of them are rational? When you use logic or facts with them they resort to juvenile namecalling, and use personal attacks. They would just all shout down anyone that doen't agree with them, but luckily for us we don't have to hear them. Very rational.

Fact of the matter is that many of the "conservatives" are "ignorant followers" who are fleeced by a corrupt elite.
It is no accident that the two most modern pillars of the american economy (computers and biotechnology) were invented by "liberals" in the 1960s who dared to think in uncoventional ways.
One might even say that in supporting social structures that prioritize handouts to corrupt corporate welfare queens, "conservatives" are parasites on american society.
