I don't know about this one. What if some advanced alien civilization took this as a form of outer space spam? I'm sure such a civilization would have eradicated spammers long ago so they may choose to eradicate us.
Of course I'm kidding...
In all seriousness, I think this is actually a good thing. It's good to see some corporate money being channeled into a science facility regardless of the fact that it's a harmless publicity stunt.
