It may be for the best results that they use cadavers...but it's still gross!

It is gross, and it's harder than hell to interview 'em after the tests.

All astronautics is dead thing. Imagine - you inside scrap pile are going somewhere, where is no water, ground, or even air - for what purpose? There is no reason to make all this big and complex space rockets. Nonsense. There are still so many tasks right here, on Earth.

Yes there are plenty of tasks right here on Earth but that is no reason to preclude the exploration of space, in fact such exploration in the past has provided solutions to many of those tasks.

The cadavers would have to be embalmed for that determination

They volunteered when they were alive, so what's the grief ?

Anything that helps humanity get to the stars is a GOOD thing, IMHO......

That's pretty weird. Why couldn't they just use dummies or life-like size something similar to human bodies?

              http://thelwsealsshow.blogspot.com/2008/05/sate...

Since the bodies won't really give a realistic idea of how live humans would react (because it would be dead weight), then what's the difference in NASA using something else similar to the size and height of a real human? Science is getting crazy. Does this capsule have anything to do with the satellite they've been working on?
